Hi, Im starting to get back into developing some systems, in the past i've used Tradestation which i found really intuitive and found there was plenty of quick ways to get answers whether it was going through the forum community, the online encyclopedia or example code. However I know some large systematic traders running some sizeable funds who all say the Tradestation data is terrible and you shouldn't ever rely on their backtest results. I day trade discretionary methods on CQG so decided to add their backtesting function and their data is highly regarded. However there seems to be no way to get solutions to any problems without emailing a support representative with every little question. I mean, i don't mind doing that, i pay them enough money! But just seems really inefficient. Is there an online support area i'm missing to ask other users, look at example code etc etc? Also, while i have your attention, do any CQG coders out there know if you can reference 2 different time periods? So assume i'm trading off a 15 min bar but i want to reference the daily bar's ATR and say something like "if today's range is greater than the daily ATR of the past 10 sessions then do..." or in other words if today is a big up or down day then do x Thanks
