Is there a book or place where I can find every known strategy?

  1. I want to backtest experiment many different types of trading strategies, new or old. Any place or book i can find such information?

There is no book that gives all the thousand strategies.

I asked Chatgpt to give me at least a thousand strategies.
    It gives me 195 strategies.

You can go buy all the trading books from Amazon.com and
read the books from the Library of Congress.
There are about a thousand new and old trading books.

99% of the trading Books are written by professional writers.
You should be asking where are the books written by professional
    traders.

    Good Luck with back testing.

You don't need books for this. Thought about asking AI?

  6. it's too generative and derives it's self from current trading strategies that are all too over used

  8. I agree with you 100 percent. Many make the mistake of trying to find knowledge in such books. But in the end, after six months - 2 years, there is theory, but no practice.

Surely there are only two strategies? -
buy because price has been rising
    and
buy because price has been falling.
