I'm looking for a charting website (prophet.net/bigcharts.com/etc.) that has relative strength. Not to be confused with RSI!

If anyone has info regarding a website that offers it please post or PM. Thanks in advance. :)

  2. If you could give an example it would be helpful. Thanks.

  3. I think he means how strong is INTC relative to the chipmakers, relative to the tech stocks, relative to the SP500 etc.

www.stockcharts.com doesn't have RS charting (atleast not that I can see)

In the "Indicator Wondows" (pull down menu) there is only RSI. And in the "Price Overlays" pull down menu doesn't have it either.

No, thats a comparative chart. An RS looks like a line going up and down above the middle or zero line.

When the stock is stronger than the index, it will be above....when weaker, it will be lower (trending down or negative).

    Hope that clears it up.

  8. In StockCharts there is an indicator called "Price Relative" which automatically defaults to $SPX but you can change the comparison to any stock.

Thus, it will show the line in an indicator pane below the chart of the stock you are looking at (or you can change the pane to be above the chart).

  9. you need IBD charts for this
