Is Obama's Pea's Prize About To Be Confiscated?

  1. STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) — Nobel Peace Prize officials were facing a formal inquiry over accusations they have drifted away from the prize's original selection criteria by choosing such winners as President Barack Obama, as the nomination deadline for the 2012 awards closed Wednesday. The investigation comes after persistent complaints by a Norwegian peace researcher that the original purpose of the prize was to diminish the role of military power in international relations.

  2. Looks like the Nobel committee was duped, too. (Or maybe it was obvious all along, but the Nobel committee was trying to make some points by awarding the prize without justification and in spite of behavior to the contrary.... IOW... KISSING ASS!)

  3. I think that even Hopey, in a sober moment, would admit the whole thing was a bit ridiculous. Then again the "hopium" high was running so strong that even the Nobel committee fell for the whole sham.

  4. Maybe that's why Obama scaled back our military, so he can say claim he is doing sumpin.

Oi, another clawback...for the prize money.

  5. He's going to run on the hopium platform once again... claiming the only reason there weren't the expected results over the last 3 years is because Congress wouldn't let him "raise taxes on the rich... and they didn't pay their fair share". I have a queasy feeling it might just work.... as we all know, the parasite class is simple-minded and very greedy. :(

  6. Although I agree the committee got a little carried away, Obama has ended the Iraq war on time and is ending Afghanistan early. And unlike his predecessor, Obama has not started any unjustified wars. He has also done more about loose nuclear materials than Bush did in eight years.

I like the name "Pea's Prize". That's funny.

Don't forget Al Gore got a "Pea's Prize" too. Maybe because he DIDN'T do something. But I thought it was a libeal thing. Start a war get a Pea's Prize.

I actually sent an email to the committee sometime after his award on this very subject.
I never did get a response.

  9. Okay..... so let's nominate him this year or next.

Point being he got a peace prize for doing nothing,
