I feel somone is trying to maniuplate market data feed. some market data is unplugged, then back on. then unpluged again, then back on.
Ever since I decided to diversify brokers and add IB I've had nothing but problems. Shittiest broker and platform I've used thus far. I click on things in TWS and a lot of times they don't even function such as changing time frames on a chart! lol
you can't say this without presenting some evidence(screenshot to be precise). without proof i would call it BS no problems with IB so far in my house
I do not know what cause the flicking data feed. maybe my internnet subscriber, maybe IB. lots of things. I said something bad about IB in the survey, so I get a liitle bit nervous"do they revenge me?". Ib as a large firm, should be transprent, act accordingly. I think maybe that is my problem.each time problem pops, I fingerpoints toward IB. maybe that is too emotional, not good mindset. I get to investigate myinternet provider
if 10 real people are saying to you in real time that there is no problem with IB data this morning maybe there is NO PROBLEM? or maybe there is a problem with your PC.router,connection,cable,card,provider etc?
Have been back with IB for a couple of years, and have only had a couple data outages and were very short. I was with IB long ago and left for a lot of reasons. They have cleaned up well. Customer service has been great, the platform has been good for me, and the fees are pretty close to the best at my volume level.
Of course, it makes sense. I gave them high marks in the survey. Obviously they reallocated your bandwidth to me. Alway be careful what you say, Peterffy is watching you.
