I'm a Ketel One and Belvedere Man myself...only after 5 and only at home. Great family and home (my office) so I never need a pub. Never during business hours.
I'll sometimes take a sip or two of chardonnay to calm my nerves down, or while I'm just bored and restless. -- trading can get boring at times...you're just sitting at your screen waiting for the the chart to progress...it can drive you nuts just watching it move...So slowly...
"Drinking while trading? No, I do not. Trading is a business and I treat it as suc" If I were to secure you a deal with Putin (the president if Russia) where you can expose your ideas about never trading while drunk, and give you $1B for starters to un-prove this. Where would you start?
I'll take that bet...I treat my drinking like my trading...businesslike and separate. Quality time is allotted to each. I don't believe Mr. Putin can make that distinction.
I do tend to drink during business hours and my drinking has increased dramatically as of late. In my early 20s I almost didn't drink at all. Obviously when trading is involved, you have to strictly monitor your intake.
Like I said; I don't drink and trade. Perhaps you should consider not drinking and posting nonsense on this forum?
Heh. I've noticed a version of Godwin's law which applies to my drinking. Godwin's Law: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1". Lemma in my case: as the number of drinks goes up, the probability of Russia appearing in my bumblings approaches 1
