Is Bernanke scared of a depression?

Discussion in 'Trading' started by detective, Oct 31, 2007.

  1. He's studied the printing of money throughout his academic career, and is just chomping at the bit to be a superhero blasting away at possible deflation and a depression. And if a few trillionaire hedge fund managers and bankers are made along the way, that's ok.

Anybody know where I can get a slick wheelbarrow that can carry a lot of paper?

  2. it is the fed's job the help move the economy forward by cuting rates.

  4. Lol right... it's not to control inflation or any silly thing like that.

  5. Is there an exact time that Bernake speaks? I'm looking for a profit-taking selloff if it's only .25.

    Thanx in advance.

  6. Um except there is no inflation problem

  7. The Fed announcement is at 2:15 pm est. No speech

  8. Thanks, Detective. So it'll be short and soon.

Must be a .5 cute because the markets are up, although only marginally today. .25 cut at least.

  10. Maybe a point that would be awesome
