So Trump is up at 2AM, hasn't been seen in public in two days, didn't punch back on Elon... and has an hour long conversation with Putin today to which his usually boisterous comments were pretty reserved imo. I don't think it's the pressure of the BB-bill. We all know Israel is ready to go. I think Trump is getting ready too. The Mullah's are being stupid. And it's not only Iran's Uranium enrichment facilities, but also their drone factories and other conventional weapon manufacturing operations. ...Take that Putin. All technical indicators show oil going lower... I wouldn't bet on it near term.
Now he has a phone call with Xi tomorrow. Somehow I think they'll be discussing more than tariffs. The only thing time-frame-wise that throws a wrench into this, is the great military parade on June 14th. 10 days away. Sounds silly, but with all that planning and the perceived potential fanfare, Trump won't want to backtrack on that. Hmm(?). I dunno. But I think major geopolitical moves are in the works. All I can say is trade accordingly. I would not short oil however. Could be wrong, but if I'm not...
Despite US bold move to invade Iraq I still think the aftermath still lingers to prevent anyone from considering starting a war in the Middle East. A joint airstrike on Iran would be a mistake from a president who claims he can stop wars in Russia and Israel...

Let's take a look at the news this week. Trump is looking to place "Iran doves" in key government positions and getting rid of the "hawks".
