We have the military option which will double or triple the price of oil overnight and activate terrorist proxies around the world.

We have the diplomacy option which does not seem to be very ideal considering the dictator has called for the death of Israel. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says he only wants nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. "Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury,” Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. For some crazy reason it is difficult to believe he only wants nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

Realistically we have the choice of causing further economic destruction to ourselves minus one big bomb or the choice of adding one big bomb to the hands of a mad man while hoping Hilary Clinton can pyschoanalyze/seduce/persuade Ahmadinejad into thinking peaceful, happy thoughts.

  2. While it is hard to believe that Iran wants nuclear technology solely for producing electricity, it's even harder to believe that anyone would think they could nuke Israel and get away with it.

While I do believe that Ahmadinejad does want to produce nuclear weapons, surely the only rational reason for doing so is to discourage Israel from nuking Iran.

Perhaps a situation similar to India/Pakistan would be more stable...
