Iphone 8 launch date but all Apple stores in my city is empty

Just Apple staff, almost no customer. Everyone in my city is making fun of this since it used to be a super hot topic every year and crazy many people in front of the stores. There are 5 official stores in my city and all are just empty.

Were there any mad crowds lining up to buy the the iphone 7 one year ago?
I dont remember any.
But AAPL is still up huge in the 12 months since.

Are you serious???? Wait for 1 month+ to see lines. Any apple fan has no desire for 8 when X is a month away. Those lines will be back and huge on November 3rd.

And it does work consistently, especially when lost and restored from backup.
