  2. ??? what's the point? If you are a retail forex trader you already know these inside deals are being made. It is quite obvious when they need to buy the first thing they do is sell everything.

Who is the nanny state trying to protect now? Retail forex gamblers like me?

Why don't they just stand outside the entrances to casinos in Atlantic City and hand out pamphlets explaining the true odds on the Roulette Table?

Forex is a trillion dollar market, but not every hour every day. At times it is quite thin.

You are already supposed to know this before you gamble your first dollar (or Aussie or franc.)

The more control the govt has, the more they cut me out, because I have no inside connections.

People fear what they don't understand, and what they fear they hate. The government doesn't understand forex gambling, so they fear it, and the only thing they know to do is hate it.

They hate anything they can't control.

caveat emptor. Forex trading is really great right now, because there is very little government control. But soon it will go the way of commodity trading and stock trading. Then, you will need a politician on the take to get an even shot.
