i understood the limit is 100 symbols. unknowing to me, it was trying to load all my watchlist, which is more than 100 symbols for sure, couldn't load a single chart.

    i shut it.

    Better don't use it.
I will stick to the old IB platform.

    IB uses complex English.
    Platform usually not user-friendly.
That's why you need to do a demo on their platform.

If this new platform is designed by IB itself, I will not use it. Their TWS gave me nightmares. It's a very trashy platform. I would not expect the new one to be much better.

Perhaps that's why the OP didn't say a single word
    other than the title.

More stuff for the 90s traders. But visual candy is what sells the most for newbies.

I just tried it, I like it, it feels smooth.
Not as nice as TOS but it feels less intricate than TWS.

I just converted a long iron condor into a put butterfly and it immediately worked it out and showed it as a whole strategy.
TWS did not do that, or at least, I couldn't do it... and I had to monitor the single legs or group them into a dedicated tab.

It looks compact, everything in one window and one just clicks around tabs. I can't find a "detach chart" options, and I like that, might suggest it.
    Charts are tradingview.

Option chains look like the android app, plus this "Lattice" new version which is like a calendar with a visual of what I think might be IV... need to explore this new feature more.
Payoff modelling chart is basic like on the App, slightly better than TWS but not like TOS.

I think it's missing all the separate detachable tabs that one might find useful to run on multi display setup. But somewhere I read that they might introduce mosaic style tabs.

Definitely better than their browser client portal trader for quick access and trade management.

  9. Looks like very simplified version of TWS. I don't think it supports the API either since there is no config for it.

I think it's just a cosmetic upgrade. They merely adopted TradingView's interface.
