Is it correct that you cannot trade the Hard Red Winter Wheat contract on IB. One of their help desk people said this is correct and i cannot find it listed. I thought it traded on Globex so i would be able to trade it. Any ideas?

KE and MWE both trade Globex. I'm guessing IB figures as long as they have like ES, CL and 6E, they don't have to worry too much about the all those "weird" products.

I Guess so... I just know that the Kansas contract is widely traded so i figured it would be covered. Oh well...live and learn!

  4. I suggest opening a ticket in the Product category and asking about their plans.

    This has worked for me.

It may take a few days to get a reply with a ticket but you should get a response from someone who knows more.

I am just an IB customer.

I called and spoke to IB. At this time they have no plans to expand to include KCBOT contracts. The only way this would change is if their large clients put in a request for this exchange.

  6. I use tradestation's pit account to trade KCBT, MGX (Minn Wheat) and ICE Canada (Canola -- this is the old Winnipeg Commodity Exchange) No API like IB but they have all the contracts. Tradestation uses the RJOVantage which is whitebranded for TS.
