I am not too hopeful that anyone has a lot of information, but I was hoping to get some information on some of the top tier prop shops in Chicago.

We have a lot here in Chicago and I am not very familiar with many of them. Just curious as to what products/strategies they trade, how pay is, what the culture is like, and what you need to get into them.

    Thanks

If you live there in Chicago, why not walk into their office and ask them?

Huh? Just get a visitor's pass? Call someone? I don't mean to run in there like a subway rat with scruffy clothes and smelling like a vagrant that has been living underground and licking your own taint for nutrition for 10 years. Do you dig?

Send this to CEO, CFO, CMO, or to anyone, whos high rankinkg there :

A new , clean, shoe inside a box.

    Put a note inside :

,,I am already one foot in, please help me, to bring inside the second one , so i could have 10 minutes of your time"

I know people, for whom it was a ticket, for a meeting.

  6. Best bet is to get into a "fund". You get "in" with a good one, its like a library, they do research and build portfolios, send out investor news letters with nice talk and fluff, barley beat if ever the SP 500 get paid fees plus bonus, they worry more about where they are going on vacation and having big sumptuous meals somewhere.... they are not darting in and out of markets for a few thousand bucks, they are "taking" others money

But what if I smell like a vagrant that has been licking my own traint for nutrition for 10 years?

  8. you can smell like that at a prop firm, just bring first loss... fund looking good is "better"

Do agree but he could be asking for outside opinions instead of getting a rosy picture if he were to walk in thru their front doors or phone call them.

On the flip side, it is Chicago and there's still that fear in the air that if you go there in person and talk to the wrong person...someone will take you out back into the alley and put a bullet between your eyes or just give you a good beat down. Next, they'll then put in the garbage...all because you asked the wrong questions or got answers you were not suppose to know.

That's what they did to you in 1929 when you walked in and asked about prop firms. :D o_O

P.S. You'll know you're at the wrong prop firm in Chicago is when management walks in and wearing those Al Capone like hats.
