Government numbers are being "nicely calculated", while the reality looks more like an asshole. The girls name is Palina, that's why the 'P' on the chain. Think I should mention that too. Have a nice we and leave a like...
Exactly. They exclude food and energy. Who needs to eat and drive. The real number are double of that.
CPI excludes housing costs and imputed rent. "When was housing removed from CPI? House prices were included in America's CPI between 1953 and 1983 before being removed. This was partly because indexing benefits and pensions to inflation had become expensive and some politicians wanted to bring measured inflation down." Under the old system inflation would be 4% higher or11.5% instead of 7.5%. Like all countries on the decline governments lie about inflation in order to limit inflation adjustment payouts.
There are also lots of additional areas where inflation has occurred but isn't being measured or captured. While the gov't can monitor reduced product sizing, add-on fees and excessive charges and fees for "mandatory options" in many industries are not part of the calculation. Not long ago I remember some politicians talking about how certain policies affect the poor. The poor are getting disproportionately hammered here, but I don't hear any of our leaders talking about it any more. Seems odd.
Maybe the point is real inflation is worst than the inflation rate announced by policymaker, looks still under control meanwhile in the real world, many people look at inflation higher like a butt
Inflation numbers are a disgrace ---> For nontraders, Inflation numbers are a disgrace traders like changes / volatility. traders dislike stability / calm. Look at high inflation as a nuisance, or as a trading opportunity.
Yup, that supply chain sure is effing this up. Those yahoos up north halting 1/3 of our trade won't help things. But what dark money wants, dark money gets
