I don't drink sodas. If I'm offered one I'll sip it for the taste and toss most of it. Some people, old ladies addicted to sugar, will almost go batshit if I won't drink the soda, won't eat the cookie, etc... I'll spill the soda on them if I have to, they are so weird about sugar-shit sometimes, won't take no for an answer... they have to just be trained to keep that shit away from me. I quit eating bread ~18 months ago.. there seems to be a carbohydrate syndrome because after a few weeks the desserts didn't look so good so I quit eating cake. Chocolate gives me headaches so I quit eating the candy bars too.. I'm ~10 pounds lighter than I was when I quit the bread and I seem to be a lot stronger. I'm 69yo, wanted to climb over a fence the other day and I just went up and over like when I was 25... I haven't eaten white flower much at all for a very long time. That shit became popular because it could sit on grocer's shelves and not spoil. It's got so little nutrition that the mold and stuff that ruins bread can't live on it! People will sell you anything at all that they can. It's quite essential to learn about nutrition and avoid the worst of the stuff. I watch older people in this hotel, they eat sugar-shit and talk about their doctors. I don't have a goddam doctor so I have nothing to talk about with them. If I tell them about all the herbs and supplements that I use they call me a "self medicator". Bunch of moronic assholes but they are pretty much the norm: they eat sugar-shit, they get sick, they die, fuck 'em..
Like I've said before put a health care tax on unhealthy habits and there goes your heath care funding problems and maybe eventually a healthier population, if not at least they will pay for their health care as they go.
If the tax went to health care then yes tax it. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time, or something like that.

I take a day off from supplements once a week to give my liver a break...
