This is the view from my front step after spending an hour on the tractor just to make a path to get cars out. But the main road leading to the driveway won't be plowed for awhile. 15" overnight in western WI. But life could be a lot worse. I know some people around the country are even more tired of tornados. And snow storms don't wipe your house off its foundation while your sleeping. Prayers to those folks down south.
I love winter, snow storms, blizzards, skiing, winter camping, snowshoeing, and vacationing in colder climates. Yet, I dislike when snow storms or blizzards hit areas that are not used to seeing extreme weather because it sometimes can lead to power outages, injuries, or death. wrbtrader
Your second picture reminds of this vid : Sometimes i walk with jacket open, in the rain and cold wind and wonder, how many of those people would like to exchange places with me, that got few weeks/months left to live, due the cancer. Appreciating, life.
Yeah, I lost my dad in July to cancer. He would've loved this snow. Especially since it's 35 degrees with a beautiful blue sky and barely a breeze. I just did a bunch of plowing for neighbors and I loved it. It's beautiful out there.
I'm over in S.E. Wisconsin, and we just got hammered with thunderstorms and rain this time instead of the snow. Sister in law is just east of St. Paul, and sent pictures of her house and driveway. They look almost identical to the ones you posted. A week ago I was going to post a picture of me buried in the snow with the dogs. All 8" are gone in a week. It's beautiful, but I agree I'm done with it, yet they say we may see more this week. Can't wait to start bitching about the heat and humidity! Baron that looks fantastic.
I t looks like spring unofficially starts next weekend here in western WI. Consistently in the high 40s and low 50s. Finally.
