I'm looking for a programmer who can get bitcoin dollars from exchanges every 5 seconds

In order to put them in a spreadsheet. Most likely this can be done with API but I don't know how.

 

Why not just short-cut, and go directly to rubbing the lamp?

 

Lots of exchanges out there. You looking for all of just a few major ones? Which ones?

 

Most of them at first but presumably just a few eventually.
