I have created a trading system that beats the market (the index) systematically. I want to sell the system, preferably to institutional investors but if that's a bridge too far then retail investors is just as good as long there's enough of them. You can get a glimpse of how it works and how it fares in the attached PDF. I also want to discuss my marketing strategy and the envisioned roadmap from nobody to perhaps reaching into the pockets of the deepest financial institutions. With fallback plan to advertise to a retail market of several millions. Please write me in private if you're interested in becoming a founding partner.
Here's a suggestion, it's probably best for you to use some 3rd party analytics than some simple spreadsheet to show your performance that looks like a high school student just made. Better yet, forward test that algo and see how it performs in live market and money. Something like: https://www.buildalpha.com/ https://www.composer.trade/
It makes no sense to sell a trading system that truly makes money. Why would anyone dilute what is 100% of the profits from a winning system by sharing it or taking a fee for it. Even an insane person would not do this. It's more likely that your PDF is some kind of a trojan/virus. I'm not even curious.
Didn't you post this before? I swear I have seen it somewhere before. Would you be able to show some backtest and/or forward test results in a viewable file instead of a .pdf that I would have to download to take a look?
Hi Dawn, yes, it proves you also (read) Chit Chat I posted it on the trivial channel before going deeper. To some objections from above: I'm a quant, not a web designer so I did what I could to present the results of 15 years of research: wrote a Word document and converted it to PDF. It should be safe to download, you're just an ignorant lazy a** if you don't or can't open that. To @TheDawn : to some extent, where I don't reveal my actual trades but only aggregated result, I can. You can ask me anything btw. Out of sample: yes, it works. Other stocks/indexes than the one tested. A fuckton of them: yes, it works. Anything else?
You won't like me comment but a system with backtest results only has zero value. Read the Net on 'curve fitting'. You have zero chance to sell it to institutional investors. You might get a couple of retail guys who doesn't know much about trading, but that's it. The only option you have is to trade it a couple of year to gather some real results. You are not the first guy with this kind of idea/unproven system.
I should perhaps add a limit of minimum 15,000 posts before being allowed to have an opinion but I'd kick my own balls so I'll be more indulgent. You haven't worked in the institutional space my man and it shows in the naivety and meme-ity of your post. You just parrot the prevalent opinion while having no idea how things actually work in the deep (pocket) waters.
Aq, you'd have to admit that for two salesmen of equal expertise, both promoting your system, the one with sufficient record of actual money in hand results produced solely by your system would be the horse that we would put our money on to bring home the contract. May as well get that mofo in gear pulling down some fruits - - - or don't. https://www.invesco.com/corporate/en/contact-us.html
You'd be surprised by what I have done in my professional career. But I don't care about what you think who I am. I'm not surprised by your reply. Some people don't want to hear the truth. Btw, I commented on the content of your post, nothing was personal.
Me neither. I'm selling a product. You're not buying. No tragedy. But from this point on you're irrelevant to me. Best I can do is to be polite and say "perhaps next time" instead of some insult (which I actually addressed to you in my native language in my mind and rocks would crack if they'd knew how I think about their value for me at that point).
