I think both is true of the leftist posters here at ET. Sorry guys, just telling it like it is. If You Think Trump Is The Worst President Ever, You’re Either Ignorant Or Have Fallen For Media Propaganda | The Daily Wire
Somebody really should study some of these idiots find out how the American education system failed them. It appears that not only are they emboldened by the echo chambers they seek out on the internet, they create little champions for themselves like the dumb ass who wrote that article.
As a resident / citizen of both countries... Both have Covidiots but social media has a much more negative impact by social media and the misinformation / disinformation. In fact, I've met more people in the United States since the arrival of social media that engage in conspiracy theories...less critical thinking. Also, I know people that live on the borders in either country and then cross the border (currently can not because of border restrictions for their jobs). They see the same differences too in the work place of their co-workers. It's gotten to the point that I need to take a cold shower after engaging someone that believes in Trumpism especially those that act like they don't care about the GOP. A sign of this is the viewers of Fox News versus the viewers of Newsmax Canada is no perfect country but its better at identifying the Trumps types and ensure they'll never become a world leader that represents Canada. Yet, I do prefer the United States military versus Canada although my only experience with Canada military is via lots of conversation with those that served in the Canada armed forces. It's going to take the United States a very long time to recover from Trump and it will take the GOP a very long time too to recover from Trumpism. The GOP has been weaken by Trumpism. An excellent measure of a President's place in history involves when they run for re-election. A President that loses a re-election has always occurred in unusual situations and often created or mismanage by the President that lost. I will enjoy reading the memoir of President Trump so that I can compare it to the memoir of the U.S. President's in my lifetime to see if my perspective about them while they were President was dead on or off base. So far, I've been dead on about my views of a President when he served as one when I would later read their polished up memoir. wrbtrader
There just aren't very many of these "Fortune Teller / TreeFrogTrader" types in Canada suggesting our education system does a good job helping even our most challenged kids get a decent education. I just find these people puzzling they seem mentally insane at times but it could just be they are overwhelmed with the world and have developed defense mechanisms to get by emotionally. It will be interesting to see if more rational people can take back the country from these idiots in Trump's base and how long it takes. The obsession with conspiracy theories I noted back in 2010/2011 concerning some traders on this site. Very much an American thing. I'm not sure what to think of it.
Summary... United States has been radicalized and weaponized by conspiracy theories. It no longer needs to worry about radicals / terrorists from the outside... It's now a big worry from inside the United States because it typically results in home grown terrorists that attack their own citizens that oppose their conspiracy theories. wrbtrader
