Very interesting and important topic as parental abandonment is a major issue for a society as it affects a child significantly and how they act when becoming an adult. Has anyone thought about how a society views marriage and the family unit and how it's changed over the years ?

Having abandoned this now orphaned thread without further comment, it's hard to guess what is the meaning of nitro's interest/emphasis on the malleability of children in a political forum. Perhaps, faced with years or decades of GOP dominance, he realizes that he and his ideological patrons will have to look, once again, to shaping the minds of the next generation.
