ICE Exchange Disciplinary Notice

Discussion in 'Commodity Futures' started by miocapital, Jun 6, 2025 at 4:50 PM.

  1. Longtime account-less lurker. I was going through a few unread distribution emails I received from various exchanges (cme, cboe, ice) as I was waiting for a flight, and a name from one disciplinary notice popped out because I remember reading his posts on here before.

    His name ( @MikaDelattreTrader ) is unique enough that it's 99% the same person, and his profile says "last seen" 2 days before the notice was sent out.

    https://www.ice.com/publicdocs/futu.../ICE_Futures_US_Michael_Delattre_20250522.pdf (his name is the same as the email on his profile information section)

    The same day, this notice was also sent out:
    https://www.ice.com/publicdocs/futures_us/exchange_notices/ICE_Futures_US_IBAdvisory_20250522.pdf

    which specifically describes:
    To help mitigate these risks, the Department encourages IBs and FCMs to review their client onboarding procedures and enhance their due diligence measures, if necessary, by:
    • understanding the client’s reasoning for trading and for what specific markets. (For example, was the new client pitched to open an account or trade an exotic market via a group forum or chat?);
    • questioning and vetting the client’s trading experience, specifically in exotic strategies/options;
    • monitoring requests to transfer positions of recently opened account(s) to another FCM;
    • placing lower trading limits on new clients for a trial period or specifically in exotic markets/options; and
    • robust monitoring to detect suspicious activities post-onboarding such as pre-arranged and money pass trading or unusual trading patterns in low-volume or exotic markets.
    It's possible this is referring to another forum. I made an account to post here just in case as a cautionary warning, and this specifically mentioned "via a group forum" so could apply to some of you. I would say nothing is free or if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is, but I've learned a fair bit from here for free, so I'll leave it at that.

    And then lied and couldn't come up w/ $25k for the fine?

    Shame... he should've had a passbook savings account.

    The real question is:

    Who the fuck would use their real name on this sketchy ass website that looks like it's stuck in 2003 and run by a Nigerian prince? (no offense Baron)

    I'm surfing behind multiple VPNs, a couple of proxies and Tor all at the same time while also spoofing my UA.

    Google won't even let me search without doing a captcha for some sleeping Tesla drivers in real-time.

    Choose all the images where a semi-tractor trailer is about to smash into a windshield.

    No SHIT google! Why did it happen? Because you're trying to fingerprint me and having trouble. D-uh!

    Am I right Becky with the fat account?

    Why didn't his clearer or broker prevent this earlier?

    The Mika nick was on call for something like $600K and the FCM didn't liquidate.

    Don't you think that's a lot of work to protect some silly short puts into a 10 OI figure? On another note, what happens to your account when the mkt blows up and there is no offer on your puts? You're going to take assignments? Don't think so. I think you're going to be getting one of those $25K regulatory fines (but from the SEC) when they liquidate ur silliness.

    So you post to SM under Tor but short four lots on WiFi.

    Say hi to your bestie, @MarkBrown
