Hi, I wonder if someone can chime in on the aforesaid subject. I currently use IBKR Pro for scalping stocks and I just learned about the possibility of hooking up my IBKR account with DAS Trader Pro. I wonder if that would improve the fills I will get? IBKR Pro is a direct-access broker, correct? And Das Trader Pro will just provide the same service (although it's not a broker per-se), right? So they should be pretty much identical as far as the quality/speed of the fills go, no? I also have the ThinkorSwim platform and that also can be connected to Das Trader Pro. Would it worth for a scalper to "upgrade" from IBKR Pro to DAS Trader Pro? Thank you in advance, I'm eager to learn more on this subject.
Are you sure after schwab fully transitioned, will they still offer Thinkswim connectivity with Das ?
That I don't know. I'm still trying to find out the differences between IBKR Pro and DAS Trader Pro regarding execution of orders.
I'm not sure what I can add. I'm not familiar with the other platform. Orders routed via IB whether our own front end or other will get the same direct access treatment and routing features such as access to the IB ATS and for options IBUSOPT.
K, that's fine. Was just calling you out to see if you could answer the OP question, since you are the most qualified folk here to answer such a question.
Thank you. Let's hope that someone with first-hand experience on both platforms can answer this question.
