since calling ib support is nothing more than an exercise in frustration... could one of the ib folks here please explain what the problem is and what is being done to fix it. i realize that the most likely response is to say that there is no problem.... that it must be on my end, blame the exchange (since the contracts continue to trade for everyone else, ummm...no)... what version of TWS are you using... blah blah blah. it's not me. it happens on several machines running dif. versions of TWS. it happens during all time frames from open to close- usually for a few minutes at a time. it's NOT a server reset problem (the ib catc1hall) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fyi: i'm on the HK server. i pay your firm >10m/month in commisions and this crap (along with the stop orders that cancel when they're triggered) is getting old. surprise me... thank you.
