Below are screenshots for a chart of AFRM stock on Interactive Brokers, and a chart of same stock on Tradeview, and they different. Is this common (i.e. different market activity and/or prices being displayed on charts by different brokers) and why is this?
%% REAL common; SMALLer the time frame,[or some small caps] BIGGer the difference LOL Same reason you see smoke puff @ a firearm'$ barrel end fired @ distance / before you hear the sound; light traVels much faster than speed of sound........................................................ Of course a big sellgap or big buyGap could cause more slippage than normal; Tech trend$ , NasdaQQQcould be wilder + more profitable but bigger manage fee or slippage/ on ETF or that kind of stock.Good tech/ trend
Change the market hours in TV on TWS by clicking on the clock on the top of the chart, yours is set for 24 hours which is why your charts don't match. I like the way your TV chart displays the ATR & ADR% on the top right side of your chart. Do you have the Pinescript code for this? I would be most grateful if its not to much trouble.
Check the start and end times for the day. Hit the REFRESH button (if there is one). It is common to see different charting software give different results. Some charting software gives you thousands of porcupine spikes. As long as I have quality data feed (minimal delay), I wouldn't bother about those differences.
Hi, thanks for the reply. Regarding the display, it is the "ADR% / ATR / LoD dist. Table" indicator, which is available in the indicators library.
very common in my experience and the issue is usually with TradeView, their data is very odd. Might be a sync issue but I never figured it out
