IB bracket orders auto cancel after lmt fill?

Anyone one else having this problem?

I create a lmt order then attach a simple bracket order. Once the initial lmt order gets filled the brackets orders automatically get cancelled.

This just started happening yesterday after the latest tws update.

 

no such thing here, you are sure these are not bracket orders outside of normal market hours ?

 

I have also problem with brackets with the last update. My hotkeys are not working anymore. I use brackets attached to STP (not LMT) orders and they can be attached only to LMT orders now. There is "Limited to LMT orders" info. I do not understand it. Even more weird is the fact that I can still attach bracket to STP order manually via menu. Are IB developers really crazy?

 

No, but they aren't the sharpest tool in the shed.
With IB, you've got to mention exactly which TWS release or API release you are using. With IB, things change on each release. Old bugs are fixed, new bugs are introduced. It's been a pattern now for the past 2 years.

Hmmm. What about stop/limit orders then? That's all I use for entry.

 

No, you can make a hotkey attaching bracket ONLY to LMT order now. Do not ask me why. I do not understand it. It is really silly! You can attach it to STP order by hand via the menu. They only disabled to make a hotkey. Via hotkeys you are limited to LMT orders now.
