I agree with Jim. These Academy Award idiots acted like nothing had happened. That it was all good.

"It seems like everyone has an opinion on what’s being called #slapgate on Twitter. Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock on national television during the Oscars, and now everyone feels strongly about who was at fault. However, actor Jim Carrey is especially angry at a different group of people. He had some harsh words for Academy Awards attendees who continued their evening as if nothing had happened.

“I was sickened,” Carrey told Gayle King of CBS, according to HuffPost. “I was sickened by the standing ovation. Hollywood is just spineless en masse and it really felt like this is a really clear indication that we’re not the cool club anymore.”

Carrey went on to say that “King Richard” actor “should’ve been” escorted out of the event after striking Rock across the face. He also told King that the only reason Rock wasn’t filing a police report was because he “didn’t want the hassle.”

“I’d have announced this morning that I was suing Will for $200 million because that video is going to be there forever, it’s going to be ubiquitous,” the “Ace Ventura” star continued. “That insult is gonna last a very long time. If you want to yell from the audience and show disapproval or say something on Twitter [that’s fine]. But you do not have the right to walk up on stage and smack somebody in the face because they said words.”

Carrey continued, “[The slap] came out of nowhere because Will has something going on inside him that’s frustrated. I wish him the best. I have nothing against Will Smith. He’s done great things, but that was not a good moment. It cast a shadow over everyone’s shining moment last night … It was a selfish moment.”

 

Good for Jim Carey . Will Smith belongs in san quentin.

 

Chris Rock looked like he was expecting to be hit. Don't be surprised if we later found out the whole thing was staged.

 

The cops should of been allowed to take him directly to jail.

 

And that is why Chris had his hands behind his back. I don't believe he was expecting to get hit.

 

You don't make a joke about a black man's whore.
