I just bought XPEV at 37.20. Its trading there now. I have a STOP LOSS in place. Looking for the 38 level.
I would have recommended LCID instead, but it already peaked from the 520 mile range news that just came out. Of course Lucid has lots to prove with its manufacturing build up, but its vehicle is American while XPEV is Chinese and nowadays I'd be weary of Chinese stocks.
It hit 38.. I sold at 37.90. Fyi, I had 700 shares. I dont play with huge size. Its a days pay for me. I am done for the day. This is actually a second job, i have primary income from another source. Not relying on trading makes you a better trader..
I am very careful about not letting losses get too large. I never let a loss get big. I am very good at managing risk. If a trade goes the wrong way, i get out, no questions asked. If It starts to move in the right direction, I can always re enter the trade. Often times market makers play around for the first 5-20 minutes of the trading day, especially the more thinly traded stocks.
i didnt post the exact time I sold. I also sold in 2 different orders. 2 sales almost together. When I made the post of my buy, XPEV was still trading in the 37.20 area. It was at that time i posted it will go to $38. Is it just some coincidence that it went to $38 when it was trading at $37.20 ???? No, i look at charts. I suggest you follow some of my advice and stop polluting the board. I notice you do that alot to others as well. Another coward !
