Nobody here knows what you did wrong, because you posted a chart full of BS. Next time, try posting something cogent, like entries and exits. What is wrong with you? We are very busy people here. We don't have time to try to decipher your chart glyphs. Geez!
Personally I wouldn't touch Forex. From a Fundamental perspectuve you have to know two Countries, from a Technical perspective the Volume is unreliable isn't it. And why on the right side of the page haven't you created an obvious Trendline and Channel? And are you using Candelstick analysis?
The biggest problem is that even you yourself don't know whether you Long or Short USDJPY. and you didn't even know when you entered the trade. We can't get the above info from your chart. If you don't know, we definitely wouldn't know. We don't know this strange Chemical formula CHoCH. Is it some hydrogen-carbon chain thing? You have to be clear in your communication. Do note that you have stretched the Y-axis far too much. Even if you have a thousand indicators, that won't help you earn $$$$$.
Nice, friendly way to welcome a new member making his first post. Well done, as usual: you’d really think the forum would be both attracting and retaining new members easily, with responses like that? But instead of that, most strangely, it seems to have something of a problem in that regard. Absolutely baffling. Are you trading with a risk-to-reward ratio of 1:3? If so, you’re always going to have considerably more losing trades than winners, and shouldn’t be assuming that you “must have done something wrong,” if you lose a trade. I suspect that the actual “change of character level” (from bearish to bullish) was really higher than where you’ve drawn it, so I’m guessing that although you were right in principle to be trying to identify a long entry, you might have opened a position too early. But it’s always easy to be wise with hindsight, isn’t it? Just wondering: did you look at a higher time-frame (1 hour or 2 hours?) before entering a trade on the 15-minute chart you’ve shown? Lastly, welcome to the forum! Don’t let “Overnight” drive you away. Unfortunately his behavior is obnoxious to most members. You can always put him on your ignore list, if he insults you.
