For the last couple of years, I've been working for a startup and developing trading algorithms for crypto. I worked with technical indicators and developed my own research system and created some successful algorithms. Yet this startup is not paying me much and I want to find a better job. I am interested in Algo trading, but my experience is very unconventional. I have a typical data science stack: Python, TensorFlow, Numpy, etc. How should I approach my job search? I've had some interviews, but unsuccessful. Do I need to learn C++ or make some certifications?
    Thank you!

If you could actually trade with your finger on the mouse button, only takes 1 NQ e-mini futures contract in the first two hours of RTH to net anywhere from $400-$1500 a day on avg depending of course on your experience level. It's been that way for decades. And it scales. You'll never have to work for anyone else again.

    Yeah, that's very easy.
Just a few click here and there to make 400-1500$ per day.
Why didn't I think of this before???

Message above is why I don't give any specific details on ET on how to successfully trade intraday e-mini futures (NQ, RTY, YM). It only draws negative criticisms or some snide comments to imply disingenuousness. You become a NoDoji: a super helpful person whom others habitually ridicule. No thanks.

  5. NQ used to be my instrument of choice several years ago. But since that time, it has become too...unruly for me, for lack of a better term. It certainly has directionality, but the idea of entering it presently gives me the same feeling as putting my hand in a buzz saw. And so, I'm curious to know the typical size of your initial protective stop, either hard or soft. Not that I plan on trading it again any time soon, but I'd appreciate the context.

  6. When making day trading NQ sound like ATM withdrawals, it will rightfully draw criticism and ridicule. To believe anyone on ET without proof (broker statements) is just a pipe dream!

How can someone rightfully criticize or ridicule something unknown? The same handful of price structures in the first half of the session repeat over and over and over in the products he mentioned plus the ES.

He didn't share what he's doing but the claim he made doesn't seem outlandish. Makes more business sense to stand back and see what people are willing to share about their business and then be critical instead of instantly dismissing everyone not willing to share their private matters.

Anyone who knows what they're doing doesn't need to see a broker statement for proof. Anyone who doesn't know what they're doing can do the homework to test things out for themselves and then decide if it's a load of shit.

It is extremely dangerous advice. Far, far more then implied. People could be chasin' that dream for years and do damage in their carreers in these opportuun years. Suppose a person can earn 150k a year and lose 4 years, that's an advice with a value of -600.000 $

I have never heard the conman take any responsibility for this.

There a only a few who seem to be really honest, one of them is 'bigmike'

That's cool but how about my question?
