Stick with me on this one...Just sharing my thoughts. Some of these stocks are hitting all time highs...Others are being taken private. So I was looking around town. Was seeing tons of both adults and kids on e-bikes. It seems they are all going about 15-20MPH. I'm sure you have too...When spring rolls around, you'll know what I am talking about...Sans helmets. I am thinking "this will not end well"!! The question is, how can I profit from this?? I know it sounds mean and crazy (morbid), but it is the truth. Just like other truths I have noticed...People won't give up their Apple phones or Starbucks. Starbucks, they did for awhile. I thought McDonald's coffee prices would drive clients (many women), away from Starbucks...But they came back. Back to e-bikes...Not ending well. Many of these people will get into accidents...Both major and minor. They will end up in the hospital with broken bones. I saw this last week where a huge surgery center corporation going private...Being bought out. Taking this thought process out further. Who will profit? My thoughts are; Ortho pins and bracket companies, private surgery centers, really anything related to ortho. Also many people WILL die!! You can not discount this equation. Things like; kidney, heart, liver, corneas, lung, bones, tendons, ligaments, skin, heart valves, blood vessels can and will be transplanted. People are not slowing down...Yeah, I sound like that old guy telling kids to get off his lawn. But this is different... It is happening right in front of us. I try to be a realist (pragmatist to a fault). This IS real, but others have seen the cheap valuation of these companies and have made good profits. I on the other hand, did not see the forest in front of the trees... Live and learn...
Cheap helmets are useless in a crash. Reusing good helmets that were in a crash are not supposed to be reused.
