A few weeks ago on another thread, someone mentioned a book; The Trading Game Playing by the Numbers by Ryan Jones. Thanks to whoever it was. It has examples of many different money management schemes and their behavior. In addition, the author has developed his own money management system and explains it in detail. Well worth the read IMO.
As long as it doesn't lead you to buying something else he is selling, probably can't hurt to read. If this is the same guy I ran across along time ago at this point, he is not a reliable source of anything. He and his minion were horrible traders, but made money selling garbage, and promoting themselves. I add this just as a thought in case he is pitching you buy more to get more information.
Always a good idea to remind people to be wary. I don't know the guy. Didn't know he had a website. The book is available used at a reasonable price (it does not have good reviews). The book can be found easily online for free. I borrowed a copy from a friend. I know that very few people will be interested in money management, but, for those few that are, his discussion and implementation of asymmetrical money management may be useful to think about.
back in the day:- https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/money-management-books.20073/#post-294319 That acrary is a sharp one. BTW on somber note Van Tharp (mentioned in the above linked topic) passed away recently.
