I just realized, stocktwits

Is so bad, I don't even think about it for months at a time

Anyone else forget it even exists ?

 

i cant get it to pull up, jams my browser.

 

i did backtest on its picks. There is non edge.

 

Its a good social media for traders but I would never recommend it to be used to follow someone's picks nor the same for any other social media site (e.g. Twitter, TradingView, CNBC, Bloomberg).

Regardless, there are thousands of traders posting signal calls on stocktwits...

How the hell did you backtest all those traders and why would anyone do such ???

Stocktwits had potential for an NLP edge, but it devolved into Joe Random buying $STOCK and then tweeting "$STOCK going to the moon!!! Buy now!!". Worthless.

 

Met this guy in hostel, prior to flu nonsense.

,,Became'' a trader in 2 weeks.

Was pumping his thoughts into stock twits all day long. Even got following.

Tells something.

Very often, those who quickly put it on - quickly take it off)

 

And yet, there is an enormous amount of ET trolls on these message boards posting nonsense day after day, one after the other?
