That was Kamala's response to Lester Holt when he threw out...

"But you haven't even 'viiis-it-ed' the border....".

The good news is, she didn't cackle.
She may have smirked... but she didn't cackle.

I think she hired MJ's makeup artist though.

Kamala Harris Spars With Lester Holt Over Not Visiting Border: 'I Don't Understand Your Point'

An interview with Vice President Kamala Harris became briefly tense when NBC News anchor Lester Holt pressed her about not visiting the U.S.-Mexico border as migrants continue crossing over in record numbers.

"We've been to the border," Harris responded to Holt's questions at one point.

When Holt specified that she hasn't been to the border in person, she answered, "And I haven't been to Europe.… I don't understand the point that you're making."

Shame on Holt for giving credibility to the right wing bull shit that a President or VP needs to go to the border to know whats going on there. She has every US federal agency at her disposal to tell her whats going on.

Is Harris in charge of solving the border surge problem or is she not?

If she is not in charge of solving the problem and responsible for it then take her off of the effort.

Put in someone who will take responsibility and solve the problem.

    Naaaaaa.
They're all too busy digging up dirt on Crazy Rudy and the Trumpies. Plus I don't think those myriad of agencies are even allowed to see what's going on down there. She could though. For sure.

    It's called plausible deniability Tony.

I have no idea but I do know with the full resources of The US government one does not need to visit the border to know whats going on there.

    1.They aren't in cages.

2.The immigration centers they are temporally in are probably better than the homes they came from.

Leadership is about going to the source of the issue and directly setting the expectations. As an executive leader in a crisis like this border surge you should be very visible, very communicative, and clearly setting pace & direction. Harris, as a leader, needs to be at the border to rally the staff working the situation at the check points and holding facilities, as well as enforcing clear messaging to those who cross the border illegally. Make it clear that this is a problem that America is addressing.

And I will note that Trump did not handle it well either.
