71% of US GDP comes from 500 blue counties. They are the makers. They pay for everything. They pay all the taxes. 2500+ red counties are the moochers. They whine and mooch. They are the takers. They take and take and take and whine and whine.

    How is this being measured
Is it based on where the corporate office is located?
Do all sales for a company get credited to the State where the corporate office is located

Can you imagine the committee that would be established to handle such a split?

You think all the actual high tech work is being done in red counties? Even a red state like Tennessee could not make it without Nashville and Memphis which are the blue cities that generate most of the states wealth.

Turbo NAFTA could replace all those HS dropout jobs.

Great idea for a TV show, divorce USA.
The actual division is between big money and everyone else.
Rural areas are red, it's the cities that are controlled by bought and paid for gov't.

before you ask a question, read methodology first, don’t guess. There is always a method to calculate the numbers.

I see nyc metro is more productive than, for example, Houston TX.
