They are doing very well....every day there is an article about some young 20 something making millions a year uploading videos online and getting their million + subscribers to watch repeatedly their videos each week, this guy gathered up so many millions he bought a huge multimillion dollar house recently, thats how many millions he made from uploading videos to youtube....what Im saying is all these people dropping off the unemployment line and not being accounted for in the statistics are probably making millions posting videos to every known social networking feed possible.....so basically all we need is a computer, some skills, you have to be funny and offer your subscribers at least 2-3 videos a week....with over 300 million people in the US all we need is 1% of those to subscribe to your channel to make an income of at least 6 figures a year.... This guy bought a $4.5 million house with the money he made from streaming 'Minecraft' http://www.techinsider.io/captainsparklez-los-angeles-house-2015-10
Nice house! There's a young girl here in the UK in her early 20's (very pretty) who lives fairly close to me who bought a house for 1 million GBP or so, with the money she made from her makeup tutorial videos!
Yea I think I read an article about her a few months ago or so...zoe is her name...if thats the one....I hear she charges 20,000 pounds to have advertisers stick products in her videos.... 20,000 pounds a month ??? they are making more than some hedge fund managers....everyone should be youtube stars, then will never have to work again....just make videos... I know some are going to say making videos is work but doesnt that saying go that if you love what you do its not considered work?
A lot of these successful stories about these young millionaires are between 2009-2015.... hint hint!!!!
I've been "studying" these ( psychology hey!!!) and these kiddies self-made millionnaires from poor families ( Important to precise for "wealthy parents with huge ego" who want to create the illusion ) started from around the 80s ( youngest was 7 years old) . But are really reported recently. I wonder if that is due to a ego thing this late reporting.
Here are 2 more professional youtubers. I don't know how much money they make but I generally watch them for the lulz (both involve blowing shit up with firearms): https://www.youtube.com/user/FPSRussia https://www.youtube.com/user/royalnonesuchshow
I've been stuying this phenomenon, too. what never gets reported is that more than 99% of people, who do internet marketing never get more than pocket money. it's just the 1% this hype is all about. and they just have luck. it has not so much to do with skills, humour, or marketing techniques. yes, you can do a lot with marketing techniques... but not all it needs to be successful. otherwise, more indians would be wealthy (yes, it's the indians that hold the biggest share in this internet market stuff). I'd compare it with lotto. normal people never win high, but those who do, are hyped.
And here's an article about what the unemployed are really doing - http://qz.com/516023/if-nearly-40-of-americans-arent-working-what-are-they-doing/
