I feel like Artificial Intelligence watching humans talk about A.I.

  1. Do you ever feel like you don't belong to a group of traders while being a trader?
I am not talking about scalpers, trenders, mean reversionists, buy and holders and permabears.
I am talking about disagreeing with almost every thread I read.

No one ever talks about greed, people try to sound smart with words like supply and demand, while ignoring THE CORE of human values.

    Greed.

Take people protesting minimum wage, traders say those commies would push the price of burgers and fries UP.
And yes, that is true, but not because of so called little commie burger flippers.

But because Fast Food chains want those extraordinary earnings, not just good earnings, but extraordinary earnings.

    GREED

GREED DESTROYS, despite what Wall St movie script writers want you to believe.

Go ahead, be greedy on your next trade, see what it gets you in the long run.

  2. I'm not greedy. I have motives to master trading though: I'm too old to get a real job, technical trading is one very interesting math problem, writing software is endlessly "intriguing" for me somehow, and I might be able to ride the computer revolution to some very long coin... to me that is nothing more than a thrill ride at Six Flags, it's hardly about the money at all. I can't say that my motives are evil. I'm in no rush to get my algos on the air actually, been on a three month hiatus on all the trading work.

I've had many years to think about what wealth can bring. It can bring less good than evil, it's up to the individual to decide if they want to accept being a little evil [or a lot] to make money. Other than accusations that are leveled at the entire industry I don't feel like I have to address being evil at all. I just have myself and some computers, nobody can say I'm colluding with anybody.

Currently I couldn't be happier in my personal life and I'm living on Social Security and not-too-big-of-a-pension. Money could bring better vacations, a Tesla S1, house in Hawaii, etc.. beyond that I can't do much with it, in fact money beyond what one needs to be happy is more of a problem than a blessing... Scripture expresses that, the recommendation is to not be too poor or too wealthy.

I hate false s^&t like vows of poverty, I really think that is among the stupidest of things. The whole adoration of poverty thingy seems to breed poverty wherever it's taught.

You sound more like a moron than AI to me

  4. So I see you crawled out of your hole after your last thread got flushed to chit chat.

  5. How so, explain or shut up.

Are you gonna call me a commie for pointing out how mass thinkers like you don't see greed destroying US economy.

Did you know Obama got himself $8 million property in Hawaii.

Did you know Pentagon wastes billions.

Did you know this, did you know that, I don't think you know shit.

  6. Flushed on ET is a badge of honor.

ET is not known for brilliant majority that's for sure.

  7. no one is advocating poverty, what I am saying is that EXTREME CAPITALISM is just as bad as EXTREME socialism.

    Obama is Shit

    But Bush is Shit too.

One is a capitalist, one is a commie, How come they are both crap.

Because they are both extremists. And the people they serve, bankers, are also extremists.

  8. where`s Bush now?

  9. cornix
