So my girl isn't doing really well, and the replacement vet we had... sucks. But she needed to see someone. So I got on the net, and found vets that were taking new patients. I called. And you know what I told them... --->"I want to interview the vet." Un-friggin-heard of. You should have heard the answers lol. "This just isn't done." Yeah well... f u. However... one called me back.And she was impressed. And omg.... I will join Yelp and write her up the greatest review of all time. She is better than our old vet that passed away. Point being... if I can do this with a veterinarian... think about it... why not people doctors. The lion's share of them are arrogant know it alls. Especially the specialists. And the surgeons. Now that is to not belittle their competency, I'll take an arrogant asshole over a quack any day.... but still... it's my money, I'm the customer.... and you will kiss my ass. Yes I know I know, 90% will tell me to pack sand.... arrogant f's they are.... but even if you chose one of the arrogant, at least you breached this heretofore invisible wall that they hide behind. And you'll gain some credence in their eyes. Muttley is doing fine. I love this girl. The vet. I got lucky with my insolence.
Had a bad start with my surgeon. Later on realized, that it's a bad idea to piss off someone who is going to cut wide open your belly. None the less, guy gave me a free surgery (healthcare here is kinda - free), despite that in my case i had to pay for it. In return, bought him best wine that i could find in our city and shook hands. (nothing expensive, but better than vodka ) ************************************************** Might get a dog one day as well.
