This is one of the hold ups on passing the next stimulus bill.....the extra enhanced benefits that we all know are paying people more than what they were making....this argument over lowering these enhanced benefits will delay the stimulus bill, but not delay it for months, but maybe a week or 3. Anyone thinking the markets will drop on the delay of stimulus may be right, however the stimulus bill is 100%%% guaranteed to pass no matter what and any fall in the markets related to a delay will be met with twice the gains. So no need to worry. But I bet those enhanced unemployment benefits will be super delicious because they will be probably closer to $600 than $200 https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/29/cor...anced-unemployment-cnbcchange-poll-finds.html
Spot on. I have friends with small businesses who can not hire because people do not want to work. They make more doing nothing than he can pay them working. That being said with so many service industries shut down, what are the options ??? Until economy reopens fully, not much of a choice.
$600 per week I presume ?? Nobody wants to go back here aswell, many will just claim to scared to leave there house, although loads of businesses closed so doubt they'll be a shortage of workers sadly.
Agree in toto.---If we are smart, we'll never lockdown again. Total fiasco and now it's being perpetuated in The US to try and deny Trump re-election. Very disgusting.
Yep $600 a week. Not a month or every 18 days, every week on top of their unemployment benefits. They say nearly 70% of people making more on unemployment than working and if they replenish this $600 a week figure into the end of 2020 unemployment rates are going to stay well into the double digits.
There doing community testing, ie people in the street who aren't ill or likely to be ill in the UK, already closed down part of Manchester and there really pushing hard for another lockdown but harder, nobody has even had it around by me in 2months+, totally ridiculous, definately just trying to screw us all over
$600 weekly Extra, okay that's worth staying home for, UK is only $350 area monthly + Rent + extra's if you qualify most don't these days, so $3000 per month yes please and get to stay home and binge Netflix, defo!! That'll cost BILLIONS!! This is going Living Wage I've been hearing a lot about recently aswell, very Socialist and that'll lead to a police state, yeah!!
%% Closer to $200; 600 is too close to lazy/ Christmas is not every week..............................................
Uh, it's interesting to observe the situation in the U.S. and the news that is related to it. Because this country is going through some hard times, but it's coping well with it. Because industry and private business are functioning well there, huge projects with large profits are being created here, and this means that there is every chance to survive the crisis and establish everything all over again. It seems to me that now you can just take a wait-and-see position and analyze the market in such a way as to make the most competent and thoughtful plan of action for the future. That's all. So there's no need to panic early. Sometimes the market requires calmness and slower regime.
The $600 unemployment boost is almost over. For some, aid will fall by 93% PUBLISHED THU, JUL 30 20201:14 PM EDTUPDATED 2 MIN AGO https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/30/the...-for-some-their-aid-will-fall-93-percent.html
