It seems a small company that registered outside USA. It offers 4 kinds of platform. Fusion DMA DAS Pro Sterling Laser Does anyone know about this company? Is it good for someone not US citizen? And which platform is best for the new learner? Thanks a lot!
relatively new company clearing through Nonko Trading who has only been around since the beginning of this year. They are unregistered which means you can't get the same protections as US customers do such as regulatory oversight. It is risky but that's one of your choices. I would also recommend you check our Nevis whom has been around much longer (also far more reputable) and is a sponsor of this forum. You do have other options for equities like WTS in Canada (very clearing but the customer service is horrible).
but it seems you have volume requirement about the new traders it is sometimes a little tough. And the rebates are not so attractive or clear. What is your suggestion or opinion about that?
And I am not US citizen, and it seems the company registered in USA is a little complex for the new beginners. It requires some license I guess which seems a little complex. So what is the difference between that? As a foreigner?
If you are not a U.S. Citizen or Resident, you cannot take any licensing exams. WTS does have an international side in Canada that can take International Traders without any licensing. When it comes to your cost per trade, WTS is pretty cheap. Don't be afraid to bargain with them there are many firms such as WTS that you can join.
They gave me about 5/1000 now, I guess it should be expensive for new beginners. So if I am not US citizen or greencard holder, even I recently in USA, that I can not take the license exam?
(While I'm online, LOL).... just wanted to thank you Ev0 for the information you provide, especially to the newer traders.... Don
Your best bet is a place like Nevis. They are not registered firms but they have been around for a while. Do not join a firm that opened recently as many have opened and closed and not returned traders funds. Your best bet as a beginner is probably an education program which backs you upon completion or if you can, find a firm that will back you without a training course (very difficult to find). There are firms like Nevis which can serve as just a provider of execution services or firms like Maverick Trading, Alpha 7 Trading, SMB Capital, etc. You won't need a license to trade their capital as the license is for trading leveraged capital with a CBOE firm. The ones that make money off commissions are usually a broker-dealer or sub-divisions of a broker-dealer. the educational firms usually make money off education and not commissions so their educational products/services are more developed. Just my 2 cents.
