I am after a EOD data provider

    Does a Provider like ths exist ?????

    This is my wish list from ONE EOD Provider.

    Market Coverage : In order of preference.
    USA (Amex, NYSE, NAS, etc
    Aussie
    UK
    Asia
    Europe

    Data for symbols: Stocks, Forex, Futures, Index's, Stock Sectors, Symbols per each stock sector and Index.

    Data format : Either Asccii or metastock

    Data frequency : End of day, and if possible "intra day" Daily OHLC updates ( ie not intra day data, daily data.)

    Stock Data : All the splits and symbol changes to database, etc done for me.

    Futures Data : Also having continuous data merge of monthtly future contract.

  4. Use ML Dowloader from www.trading-tools.com . It does US and international and gives it to you in Metastock and ASCII. It's like $60 USD or something (one time fee, no monthly charge). Gets data from Yahoo, MSN, or other sites. Check it out. Very useful tool. I love it...

    I dont want the internet Yahoo sites as data must be more reliable.
     
  6. Do you know who provides Yahoo's pricing data? If it's Capital IQ as some of their pages suggest (although this may only be for fundamentals)...then it's pretty damn good data. The feed would be from S&P, and this is what a lot of hedge fund managers I know use (Capital IQ that is). I'm not sure if Capital IQ now provides all their pricing data or not, however.

    Smart move.

    Yahoo's historical volume data for the DJIA and the S&P500 composite are identical.

    Yeah, that fills me with confidence. :mad:
