Hurricane Milton Headed Straight for ET

Just so you guys know, Elite Trader is based out of the Orlando Florida area and it looks like we are getting a hell of a hurricane headed right for us. I have been working nonstop for the past two days trying to get prepared for this, so I just want to make it known that once this storm makes landfall, I may not be available for the usual oversight that I normally put into this site for a while.

I have been through many hurricanes but I can tell you that the panic level in our general area is pretty much off the charts with this one. It just hit Category 5 status which is ridiculous. I personally flew over to the Bahamas after hurricane Dorian hit it back in 2019, which was also a very strong storm, and let me tell you, it was like a horror movie. There wasn't even one leaf left on a tree as far as you could see. 80% of all houses were completely decimated right down to the concrete slab. I took this pic about a year later after that storm, which would usually be a subdivision loaded with big houses and lush landscaping across the street, and you can see what was left:



Now the good news is that I moved our server infrastructure over from Melbourne, Fl to a Google datacenter in Iowa many years ago, so I don't expect the site itself to have any downtime. But honestly, there's realistically a 100% chance that we will lose power here in our area given the severity of this storm, and possibly for quite a while. So if I go dark and become unresponsive, you guys will know why.

It's not the end of the world and things will eventually work out, but I just want to be open and transparent with what's going on.
