I don't have time to watch an hour-long video, but because I recently got an itch to support my doubt as to our having visitors from other planets beyond my simply saying, "It seems to me that common sense alone wound argue against it," I began digging a little deeper. I ultimately decided not to start a thread on UFOs, but what I found out DOES fit right in with this topic. In other words, the same reasons for taking a skeptical view regarding the existence of extraterrestrials are reasons for believing "All things were made by Him [Yeshuah]; and without Him was not anything made that was made." First of all, there are supposedly at least 38 different characteristics requiring specific values for life to exist anywhere in the universe; such as the velocity of light, the average distance between galaxies, the decay rate of protons, the nuclear energy level of carbon-12 to oxygen-16, the ratio of exotic matter to ordinary matter, the mass of the neutrino, etc. Second, it's claimed there are 153 known parameters necessary for living organisms to exist on any planet, and that the probability of every single one of them falling within the narrow range of values needed for there to be life on any world anywhere is less than one chance in 100 thousand trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion. And finally, for life to exist here on Earth itself, our planet calls for no less than 77 conditions that have to be met; like the size of our galaxy, the age of the sun, surface gravity, the inclination of our orbit, the ozone level in the atmosphere, mineralization of the soil, etc. The remoteness of all this just happening to come about by accident is astronomical—and these are just SOME of the reasons that NOT believing what the Bible says about Jesus makes explaining exactly how in the world we ever came to be virtually impossible!
That makes total sense, because life is basically unique, the bible and baby jesus must be true. BRILLIANT! LMAO
