    Huawei accusation

The U.K. Parliament's Defence Committee has outright accused Huawei of colluding with Chinese authorities—a step beyond the usual mistrust displayed by Western authorities. Huawei says the claim is groundless; it is certainly true that the committee did not provide any details to back up the assertion. In a new report, the committee also called for greater collaboration between democracies in developing alternatives to Chinese technology. Fortune

Oh there goes the billion-dollar deal that UK signed with China. Careful there, UK, you are gonna need sugar daddy China now that you are on your own divorced from EU.

  3. huawei is a Chinese government company

  4. Not sure how anyone is supposed to seriously consider an accusation that contains no details about the evidence that led to this "conclusion".

Come on, as soon as they reveal details, China will plug the leaks and will again play innocent.
Besides, which planet are you from if you don't know that Chinese government controls all companies in China, including sticking their noses into foreign companies.

Is anyone really shocked by this? If so, I got a Statue of Liberty to sell you.

This is like saying Lockheed Martin has ties to the US government.

  8. Sometimes it looks like what china does is a lot more like capitalism than what the USA does. Problem is that the USA "corporations" have offshored all jobs and most technology overseas. And now they wonder why we have no jobs and can't compete any longer. So the USA turns to what they know best...war. Taxpayer funded "forever" wars. And yes, this keeps the .gov hybrid DOD corps well in the GREEN.

And by the way...all these sanctions should be on the USA corps that offshored everything. They aint never gonna change til they are "motivated" to change.

I've got to push back on that. China has over 50,000 State Owned Companies - especially in strategic sectors. That is not pure capitalism, friend. Not by a long shot.

UK, now divorced from EU (de facto) pursues a more assertive and independent foreign and national security policy. Not only in relation to China.

Comparison of Lockheed Martin to Huawei is invalid.

You breath in China as long as the Emperor approves it. Otherwise the whole extended family disappears. They have a peculiar tyranny model there. Most Westerners don't understand China
