If you block someone then the postings of that blocked person won't be shown to you when you are logged-in. But you can see all postings if you are not logged-in. But then the problem arises: how to Report bad postings of such blocked people w/o first stopping the blocking? And: if the other guy has blocked you then it's normally impossible to report. Solution: Use this link and just replace the XXXXXXX with the Id of the posting (that one you get when you click on the "datetime" link of the posting. It's normally a 7-digit number at the end of the URL in the address bar): https://www.elitetrader.com/et/posts/XXXXXXX/report and enter the reason (like "off-topic", "insulting" etc.) and click the Report button.
Thank you, appreciate your effort. I'm really only interested in useful & fruitful on-topic discussions, w/o any flame-wars and insults etc. Unfortunately some bad guys out there can't do any other but disturbing the discussions with their off-topic nonsense postings.

This is what those blocked people want you to do, you to read their posts and then have to unblock them in order to respond to their posts so they can get a bit of reaction to their posts which is the only thing that keeps them going in their pathetic lives as trolls. That's why they make their posts nasty and insulting on purpose to provoke you enough to do something. Don't play into their hands. Don't read their posts and don't respond to them or even waste your time and energy to report them. There is a reason why you blocked them in the first place because their posts are crap; they do nothing to help you or improve your trading in any way so just ignore them since you have blocked them already so it should be quite easy. Think of them as the dog shit that you see on the street. Do you bother to report them or respond to them? No, you just carefully avoid them and if you happen to have accidentally stepped into them, you just wipe them off your shoes and then walk on. You treat the trolls here the same way. Just ignore them and move on. 99% of them eventually disappear, some faster than others.
Update: It seems the above method does not work anymore, although the page still exists and one can enter the reporting data, but not sure whether it sends the made reporting data to the mods for verification & taking action etc... Hi @Baron, does this reporting method still function, or has it been silently disabled? My recent reportings have not been processed yet; there was no action, no reaction, no notification. .
