I don't know enough about either to say. That said, I don't "think" that at this point my platforms I used to trade with have changed because of it. At least they look basically the same and basically do what they did a few years ago. As far as myself as a trader. None of it has affected my trading style with the exception that my min scalp is 1pt in ES (I am a scalper of 1 to 8 points) and not less to allow for how HFT firms have affected the markets. It is hard to scalp in sub 1 point and in hard to scalp in the area HFT's are operating at fast speeds. I can't compete with that. I imagine at least some HFT's use AI LOL!
If AI can connects the dots then it can draw trendlines for me. Oh … wait. I don’t use trendlines. Maybe it can help me to curve fit indicators to a specific chart ? Oh … wait. I don’t use indicators. What about calculating parameters like stops, position size and take profit based on the underlying’s peculiar characteristics ? What about providing a summary for the day ahead ? News, economic events, market related information for a specific trader ? An AI could alert you when you deviate from your plan. Lock you out from unusual activity. Coaching ? Providing feedbacks ? Pattern Recognition ? Risk Management ? Alpha finder ? There are stuffs to be done.
Surely the AI will suffer from data analysis paralysis. Trading is simply buy low sell high, sell high buy low. It is not about the rocket science.
AI is something you cannot see, cannot measure and cannot understand. This is a nonsensical question searching for a nonexistent answer
