I like the visual platform of OptionsHouse but one of my complaints about it is how it displays your account info. It doesn't clearly say how much of your funds are settled vs unsettled and it's not really intuitive about how much actual cash you have in your account. It has "Cash on Deposit" and "Cash Available to Withdraw" categories, which gives two different values which can be confusing ("Cash on Deposit" is the one that tells you how much actual cash you have, but still doesn't specify settled vs unsettled), and it has a number of other categories that tells you how much funds you have 'available for trading'. Seems like it is very ambiguous in order to try to lure you to use your margin account when you think you're using cash. I made this mistake when I first started on there because I thought I was using my funds when I was really using margin. Does anyone else feel this way about this, or is there another view in OptionsHouse that I am not aware of? Is there anywhere you can see settled vs unsettled funds?
