Is there a way to setup one of your channels as a paid subscription? Was thinking of just making donation links but it doesn't seem like that's working quite well for me. Either people don't pay attention or just don't like the idea.

    ????
Discord service - to provide service so as to create disagreement & skepticism &
disharmony & mistrust & conflict & hostility among people ?
    It sounds rather scary actually.

You wrote 3 sentences only. So we have no idea what this service is really about.

    Ended up
either people don't pay attention or just don't like the idea or
give up decoding what the service is all about.

I purposely didn't mention what service I was offering cause I didn't want people to think I was self-promoting. I was vague at the end since it's just unethical to flatout say that people are not paying attention or not liking the idea of donations. Makes me seem like an asshole. But hey I need to make a living too.

Maybe the issue is Discord and not the service. Thus, maybe you're targeting the wrong people or so few people ???

Also, outside of the services you're talking about...you an active member using Discord ???

It's either too few people or both. It's just a bit demotivating after you work so hard to help others and offer your strategy and tips for absolutely free that took me years of trial and error to develop. Yet, the majority of people just seem take it for granted. It's no wonder all the big trading chatrooms are charging for their service.

Gaming is big and growing on Discord. Most likely you're trying to reach the wrong crowd. Also, more brokers and more data providers have their own chat rooms these days in comparison to 10 years ago...for free...although its not setup to be a signal calling trade alert service.

Signal calling trade alert service is a poor business model especially in the wake of places like Stocktwits with everybody and their uncle making signal calls and bragging about it.

Also, unless trades are called in advance (e.g. tomorrow buy @ 30 and sell @ 35...stop @ 28)...too many differences in the cognitive decision making process (Behaviour Finance) to make it a viable model outside the shadows of Stocktwits and Twitter.

As stated earlier, most brokers and charting services have their own chat rooms and do not care if traders are misusing it as a trade alert room. Most famous chat rooms are on Bloomberg for professional traders.

In my opinion, signal calling trade alert rooms are a poor business model considering most social media (e.g Stocktwits, Twitter) and brokers/charting services have chat rooms to replace trade rooms because they know traders will misuse the chat room (tweets) as a signal calling trade alert service even though the person making the signal call is not aware some idiot out there is trying to mimic/copy/piggyback/replicate the signal call.

Elitetrader.com has its own version of trade alert room via the signal calls being made in the trade journal section although I have the impression that nobody is silly enough to actually trade those signal calls. There are others here at ET making signal calls under the technical analysis threads.

Yet, regardless the location of the signal calls...Discord, Twitch, Youtube Live, Stocktwits, Twitter, Elitetrader...tough business model especially when so many are freely posting signal calls for others to try to to mimic/copy/piggyback/replicate the signal call.
