it would be nice not to have enter user and password every time, same like IB Web trader? is there a reason behind this !
Security, IB not wanting to be responsible for storing passwords locally and for someone stupid to get hacked and suing them. Doesn't bother me too much, though at the same time this is the oldest complaint about IB/TWS, so it's already worn out
There is a program that will keep you logged in for a week. Someone will be along soon to tell us what it is called.
How they can hack? because every time you have to receive security code from IB? And what is purpose of someone hacking your account .. Is he going to trade for you? |Because any money going out of IB account has to go to same account holder name where funds received first day
Ask IB. They’re the ones paranoid about security. There may also be some regulatory requirements, especially about not allowing third party access to your account.
Don't be naive. A hacker can easily drain you account by simply posting some some ridiculous Bids or Asks and having your account trade on that ridiculous price.
