i 'm 26,still at home with my not much money , trade for some small money. so is there a job for trading ? how could i get this job ,just as doing my favorite thing-trading. i think i have a fixed system and want to prove it ,but i think if i keep myself will be not advance~ so ,what do you think?
don't mean to sound rude but you will not get a trading job anywhere just because you don't have any other job and you think you can trade end of discussion. what you can do instead is start small trading and prove yourself that you can make a consistent profit trading. be ready to blow up an account or two and waste a few months/years in this process. consider the lost income as part of this ordeal. becoming a trader is no different than becoming a doctor or a lawyer. just because you have an online trading account with easy access to buy and sell buttons doesn't mean you can be a trader. this is reality and i learned it the hard way. -best-
While not disrespecting other professions, I can say that trading is probably 1 of the 5 hardest professions out there.
According to brokers, doctors, lawyers, engineers and other high-paid professionals with a Master or a PHD are the worst traders!
YES,you said a fact and give us a way to success. With my best wishes~~ i will rethinking and planing. Thank you very much~
most brokers has no clue how to trade, they probably have only a high school degree. You can say doctors, lawyers might not know how to trade, but say engineers are one of the worst traders, that's just showing how ignorant you are. I happen to have a MS degree.
In my books the hardest 5 professions out there are: Not in any ranking but in the cluster of Top 5 Emergency room doctors facing unpredictable scenarios everyday (although doctors in general as they have to be upto the top of new developments in their fields) Firefighters, unpredictable and also personally dangerous job University professors who are under pressure to produce new cutting edge research in their field (can also add corporate researchers in technology, sciences and medicine etc.) Computer programmers in tough and high demand set ups. (if a program does not run, it is most irritating and helpless feeling) Traders hard for nearly everyone but extremely hard for those who are managing 9 to 10 figure portfolios. When more than 10 figures, then can also add portfolio managers of mutual funds. Very hard to find more than 20% a year PM for 5 years straight on. Look forward to more inputs from ETs on the hardest professions.
